Job Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Solar Energy Limited. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities.
    • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals.
    • Identify new markets and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead Generation and Networking:
    • Generate leads and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the company’s presence.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Prepare and present compelling business proposals to potential clients.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to create customized solutions.
  • Partnership Building:
    • Identify and build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Meet and exceed sales targets for solar energy products and services.
    • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Provide market insights to support product development.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar energy.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy technologies and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
